No Car day!

First come, first serve is always the slogan for many shops! The earlier you go, the faster you will get your thing done...but this does not apply yesterday.

Theen and I send his car for service yesterday early morning. We thought, oh well, since it will not take long, then we must as well hang out in mamak and go across the road to see some lights for our house because the serviceman told us to collect the car at 1pm. When we went back at 1 pm.. the car is still on waiting list! O MY!

So then we decided to take a bus to SS2 for a little walk but there were no bus at all, and so finally we decided to hop into a taxi and whoala!!! here we go!! Due to the boredom, we both just walk in a bridal shop for fun to take a glimpse on the price and style. But we end up there for quite some time. The consultant insist me to try some of their dresses and so i did. It was beautiful....very different from shopping in Zara or Topshop! LOL!

After all the trying and asking, we finally escape from the shop and head to a furniture shop before heading back to Tmn Bahagia to take our car. We decide to walk from SS2 back to tmn bahagia due to the cloudy weather but it was not so cloudy after all... We were cought in the rain while trying to find our way back( we were lost in a housing area). Hop hop! here we go running in the rain searching for shelter! I prayed for a taxi to pass by that unkown area and he prayed for the rain to stop... guess who God listen to? Him of course!!!! So the rain stop and we manage to find out way out!

What a beautiful outing! er.. dating!! It is crazy but it was great! wat an adventure.....

Cell Group outing

When it comes to another cell group outing, it is the time to worry of what to do again besides eating! But this time, we plan to go for bowling.

We first went for carls for dinner. We almost finish up the whole bowl of salsa there... ok.. S8 loves to eat! After the food, we do a little exercise by walking to the bowling alley.

The game was great even though some people...er i mean one people...enjoy Telor-ing during the game... The drain of the bowling lane was really clean afther we left because we help them so sweep many times in a night!

So now u think we are all bad bowlers? We have never be telor gang... wai teng and Sarah!! the champ of all champ!!! They are the best bowlers and ofcourse the one an only champ...Wai theng!!

The night ended with a lot of TELORS and we went to mamak to celebrate our telors before we head home!!!

It was really a great outing...

Ninja turtle versus Ultraman! Who will win?

My friend and I have a little chat on our childhood favourite over lunch today and we both grow up in different country even though she is purely a Malaysian. Then we found there were so much different between growing up outside Malaysia which I don’t think I want to mention where.

Let start with Kindergarten. During those days, we are taught to write ABC and 123 but we were never really encouraged to read books. Indeed, my friend has a different learning. Besides what we have learnt they are compulsory to bring back a book from school to read which we really do not have this system here. She has read so many fairy tales and some we heard of but never even read. We here only read Peter and Jane if and only if our parents actually buy for us, which I am forced to read by my father. That is probably why not many people have the habit of reading here.

What about cartoon? Yeah, we grow up with almost the same cartoon and we thought Power Rangers were cool. On the other hand, there were no such things as Power Rangers and Ultraman in where she grew up. When she came to know about it, it was lame to her! HAHA!

Pretty funny huh? Coolest thing on one side of the world can be the lamest thing on the other side!

No matter what is the difference, God is still good all the time. I am glad I didn’t miss out at all during my childhood! I read books I like and toys I want! LOL!

Have you ever come to a point, where you suddenly stop and ask yourself... what are you doing? All the while you were on the track and everything seems so right. It is just so right till it seems just not so right but not wrong... confused?

Haih... I am confused with my feeling all in a sudden...not happy of my own choice and not happy of how i look and not happy with myself... Argh... I just think that i can do better...

How Big is Big?

How big is big? A cube of sugar is big to an ant but it is tiny to our eyes. RM 1 000 000 is big to our pocket but it is nothing to Bill Gates. Casting mount Kinabalu into the sea is big for us but it is never big in the dictionary of God.

Philippians in the Bible told us that “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” So then how big is big?

“Big” is a not standard scale. It lies in the eyes of the person who sees it. Big faith can conquer big things. So how big is your faith? The size of your achievement determines by the size of your faith. The size of your problem determine by the size of God in your life. The catch is the bigger your problem the smaller portion of God in your life. Refer back to “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” no problem is too big for God. It all draws down to our faith in Christ, our endurance, our believe and our ability to imagine and to solve problems creatively.

How big is big?

How It Is Between Us (Sara Groves)

Woke up on the wrong side of the bed,
the wrong side of the room,
the wrong side of the world.
Can't put my finger on the mood.
It's not melancholy, anger or the blues.
I love my husband, my house, my job.
Couldn't be any better,
and really what else is there?
Then I realize I'm forgetting God,
and that's the root of all my misery.
Lord, first of all, how is it between you and me? .

Chorus:
How is it between us?
How is it between us?
When did I talk to you last,
and what has happened since?
How is it between us?
How is it between us?
When did I talk to you last,
and what has happened? .

When I wake up I am on my way,
reinventing the wheel and saving the day.
I have learned this lesson a thousand times,
I am the branch, and you are the vine.
Apart from you we are mice and men,
with our fancy dreams of grandeur and no way to get there.
Oh I can think about you now and then, o
r I can make a mark on eternity.

Lord first of all, how is it,
between you and me? .

Chorus .
So let the wicked prosper,
let the oceans roar,
let the mountains crumble,
and fall into the sea.
There's something more important weighing on my mind.
Lord first of all, how is it between you and me? .

The author:
When I heard this song it really impress something great in my heart. Sometime we are so content with what we have that we keep on persuing it and dwell in it. We successfully obtained what we want and it was all beautiful. But on the other hand we forget to put in the root of our life who bring all this good things to us, that is God. We somehow left Him out of the picture when we are enjoying our good times. It is like He only comes in the picture when we need Him.

We may be touched by God one day but we can also forget about what happened between you and God the other day.

Many I see they call them self Christians but persue their success and never intend to go to church. How can that be? God is no longer in the picture of their success....

I thank God for great success, great people around me and His great guidiance that carry me through mountains and valley!
