Metamorphosis

Getting a year older is great when you are reaching 21 but then when it exceeds 21 it is like...dilema! The older you get, the more responsibily is stack on you. But what is really killing me is the increasing of my age number. It is like I am reaching mid twenty in two years time and man! Aging is on its way!

To make myself feel good for getting another year older, I decide to give myself a nice trip to a hair saloon. Usually, not much changes for the previous years. I would either cut a little shorter but still the same style, treatment or either rebonding or maybe all the three. BUt then this year, I decided to go all out! Being fasionable is bieng daring to try!

Now i have my egyption hair-do that makes my face looks smaller and much more edgy... The next attemp was I colour my hair slightly a little brighter and tidy it with rebonding. This whole transformation took me more than a week to put it all together... which means I go to and fro the hair saloon 3 times! LOL!

Another amazing stuff that i did for a lazy chick like me is that i have my eye brow shaped! Yay! once and for all..... I got the killer look again! LOL!

Thinking for storing up some new trends in my closet but I do not have the time for shopping yet. But you know what.... mega sales is ending soon!!!! HELP!

Being a young engage lady among friends is like wow! But to go to campus as an engage lady.... Hmmm.... I 'll have to get use to that.... HAHA!!

It has been almost a week now since my birthday. I am still asking myself am I really sure about this? My parents were pretty excited right now and all my friends were in excited states as well. As for me, it is like a transition to a new phase of life. It is beautiful but it is scary at the same time.

Right now it is not just about planning my own future, but it is a part of my own and a part of our future together. Sounds old huh?

Anyway, EMERGE FIRE is everywhere now and I can’t wait to see Local U win the Emerge! Many competitions have passed and it is really hot! But it will get hotter on the 29th, 30th, and 31st!

Alright I have to go study now!
Sinning off..

I am what?

It has been two days passed and I am still walking in fantasy. I am what? It is too real to be true, but it is so true that it is not a fantasy, but it sounds too far from true but it is real. Yes, wedding bells will be ringing in a year or two!

Never thought I would be the first among my course mates and if I am, I did not expect that it will happen that fast! But hey! He proposed to me on my 23rd birthday!

Birthday 282m or 948ft Above the Ground

19 August 2008! It is the date of my 23rd birthday and this year it is an unforgettable one. On 12am sharp entering 19 August 2008, my sister celebrated for me in a bar. It has been years I last celebrated with her. It was not the hang over kind of celebration, so I manage to get up early to catch my super early morning bus back to KL.

So, how did I spend my birthday? Half of my day was sleeping in the bust and the whole afternoon cleaning my room! The real celebration starts in the evening.

After picking up Theen Kin from his work place, head to the dining venue. He did not tell me where so I do not know where. KL was not as jam as it used to be around 7pm, you know why? Simply because it is my birthday! HAHA! When we reach KL, Theen Kin told me that we are going to eat in Coconut Tree (some place near Pudu Raya). In my mine was like…er ok. It is pretty easy to tell lies on where we are heading in KL because I have no idea about the roads in KL. After all the lies, turning and U-turning, we suddenly end up at the entrance of “Menara Kuala Lumpur”.
A concrete coconut tree huh? So there it was, dinner at the revolving restaurant in KL tower, 948ft above the ground with a lift that bring you up there in 58second.

Seri Angkasa is the name of the restaurant. It was a beautiful place with good food, good view and perfect music. It is like my most ideal dinner to have on my birthday:- a little bit of jazz (my fav!), good food and good view.
Looks like Theen Kin remember what I like. HAHA!
So both enjoy eating and ate so much that we feels like fasting the next day. I tried raw shells and it didn’t even make it down my throat! It was disgusting!
But it is still a good try…

Some where around the desert moment, they were just playing some love songs and we were trying to digest our food and enjoying the view of the majestic twin tower. The Theen Kin say, why not we get the bill now. Well, ok. So I turn out to get a final glimps of the beautiful night view of the city before I leave. When I turn back, there it was, CHENG CHENG CHENG!

A cute little ring in a big box and he say “WILL YOU MARRY ME?”
The song, endless love was playing and my mind just went blank! Ok, lets keep it a little more romantic, I said yes.

Things are going faster than usual....
The best test to get a confirm approval is just to call my mom! And so he did, he talked to my mom and she was ok with it. Same goes to my dad! So I guess…. I am a big girl now! HAHA!

Photography

Lately, I am a little into photography. Just amazed by how much I have learn to use a DSLR camera and also to understand the basics of taking a picture. It is really beautiful. Every picture should tells a story and a story that captured peoples heart.

Having interest in taking pictures was my favourite since young (around 12 yrs old since my dad trust me with his camera). They camera doesn't really left my side eversince. I enjoy searching for a perfect frame to fit my pictures and going places with nice scenary but never understand the basic of it. Ah.. since I now know a little more of the basic, I think it will really help me a lot to improve my hobby!

What amaze me when I was learning the basic of photography is the difference between a photographer and a camera operator. Most of us are camera operator. We se nice pictures, we will just press the button and snap. We see something cute, we just snap! But photographer is different. They do snap pictures but the consider the arrangement of the back ground, lighting, line elements and a story line. They paint a picture in their vision before snaping the pictures! They fore see the outcome before taking it. Hmmm... I am so inspired!

In life it is pretty much the same. To achieve success we muct first visualise it and then walk the vision. Yeah, what pastor say is really true, we need a vision in order to grow...

I am working towards my first DSLR but due to the high price, i think a little compact camera of my own should be good for now!

Last Thursday Cell Group was a blast! I might not be feeling very good at the beginning due to my emo moments but the closing does cheer me up.

My emo moments?
As I am walking towards the end line for my degree, many thoughts begins to fly pass your mind picture by picture. It all sounds nice and well plan, then disagreement and consequences starts bombarding you pictures. Then it makes you so confuse for a moment and thought of jumping off Petronas Twin Tower. And the next is like to pursue what I want in life and forget what I have set up already, and this is very serious. I just could not think straight because if there is any topic brought up regarding this issue I will easily get really angry and mad and sometimes even fight will happen…God help me to control my life!
A usual thing that come to my mind when I was a kid is that “when I grow up, I want to go to school then to University to get a degree and then Masters and then PHD to fulfil my knowledge in life and the pursue my dream to be a air stewardess, designer or maybe Einstien.” But reality is far from all this…
For now, I would decide not to think of what is ahead but how to complete my degree with flying colours but I am still confused. My next hope is probably doing my Masters in Physics again but this time title “Plasma Physics”. What say you?

Cell Group.
It is always the best place to hang out and feel wonderful. The cell kick off with The Watermelon game by Lee Na and she just makes everyone confused and start laughing. Great Job! Feeling a little better, I put a little smile on my face. After all the laughter, we prepare ourselves for praise and worship. It was awesome! The assurance of the faithfulness of God was there with me. After the praise and worship, it was the praise report time, and then to the word and end with offering. After the offering, we have refreshment. HUNGRY! It was a pretty healthy refreshment from Keng Fong and Karin. We have chicken sandwich and orange juice! To add some unhealthy stuff, we decided to get Baskin Robins ice cream to go with it since it is 31st of JULY!!! Sadly, we didn’t manage to grab them because it was too late when we decide to grab it. The queue was too long. So the guys who were incharge to buy the ice-cream came up with a wonderful idea – “let’s get sundae cone from McDonalds!”. So they get like I do not know how many cones… I think 12cone and jump into the car happily. When they reach back the cell group location, it was half melted and their hands and car was so so covered with ice-cream! The best ending, we all end up slurping the ice-cream by the roadside while laughing at the crazy idea.
Very classic memory…. Slurping sundae cone at 11pm by the roadside.
I may have this blog for ages but this is the first and the very first time posting on this blog. Hopefully I don’t get bored over this blog.
