No title!

Hello! and Good Day!

It is how funny how human can be easily triggered by just one thing when they are so insecure? When we see someone with sexy outfit, we make a fuzz of it. When we are over charged we complain badly. And sometimes when we have a decision to make, we go round the bush. Well, not all is bad of course. We still have our human and consumer rights.

Three months of job searching wasn't easy. Many times, I am truly defeated by my own expectation. I was not as easy as I thought it would be. It is definitely not new to read about early retirement and financial freedom. To me, financial freedom and retirement is turning what you like into what you earn for a living. My hobby, my job! But back to earth, this is pretty far from reality for the majority, especially when we put on our Chinese mind. We work to earn a living and earn much enough so that we can pursue our hobby...LOL! Am I too shallow?

The truth is that, being the new generation, I am just being rather picky about jobs. Shifts? Nah I don't want. Location? too far and petrol is expensive! OT? Pening la! Pay? too low! The truth is, nothing comes in a good package. If everything is so smooth then why God create us with a brain?

At this moment of indecisiveness, it is best to leave the entire burden unto His hands, for he care and know our ways better than our own limited mind. Job interview is no longer withing this region. It has been expended to the next. Far beyond what I could think of. A job which I have applied 2 months ago (which I almost forgotten about it and it seems super impossible for getting it) has just resurface itself. Well, may says it is an opportunity, but I say, let God takes the wheel!

Every beep on my mobile is like "am i getting it?" "another interview?" "owh rejected?" OWh.."daddy coming in for graduation! YAY!" With all the messiness there will always be a spark of joy! And it is always from the person closest to your heart!

Till then..chao!

When we were about to leave the restaurant for durians (smelly I know), there was an ugly scene happened in the restaurant! 3 small boys threw tisu papers into the river beneath the restaurant! WhOa! Canggih! Neither their parent nor grandparents stopped them. Kind of pity them tho... no proper moral education.. just another rubbish. The parents were quite proud of them throwing tho... speechless....

A Post 4 Dad

My daddy! One of the greatest blessing that I could have! He was my ultimate hero when I was a kid and today, he is still my hero (despite I am married!)!

My daddy is truly my best dad in the whole wide world! Because of his love, I am brought up in such a wonderful life without much worries! When I am sick, he would drive me all the way to the doctor, and prepare / even remind me to eat my medicine! I remember when my ankle was down with a bad allergy (where my skin was bad affected and blisters were oozing out like nobodies business) he will attend to my wound. While I was there beside him watching his favorite Taiwanese drama with my leg on the chair, we would never forget to look at my ankle and wipe the oozing blisters! OWH! How sweet my daddy is uh?

Hugs and kisses from daddy is one of the rare thing we find in Chinese family! But it is definitely not a stranger to mine! Till today, daddy still hug and kissed my head! OWH how loving!

Happy Father's day!

Accept the fact that I am still here

Title sounds like a suicide! Yes! It is a suicide post, not physically, but literally!

Many times I heard/read complains about our society, our government, our transport or about anything, I refuses to give in but chose to give hope. A hope for improvement, a hope of change, a hope for upgrades and a hope for the better. Truly I love where I come from and where I am. Leaving for the better is definitely in my list, however my heart was reluctant. I still love this country and I love the fact that I am still here.

The little hope in me has finally sank into depression when I put myself to taste the less luxurious drive in life (not on purpose). I am not the kind of person to rely on public transport and to go party in the city. Hence, it was never really an issue to me. Well, on the other hand not many are as fortunate to have their own car and hence to rely on the public transport. I truly respect their patient and strength to brave through the unexpected.

So, what am I trying to say?

I took a little trip down to the city yesterday. Besides driving, I chose to take the public transport. Well, thanks to the implementation of Ladies ONLY Coach, I definitely felt so much safer to travel alone. However to my surprise, I found male in that deck too! Males in group, male alone and male with girlfriend! Are they lost males? or maybe just unaware? Well, the question is 'Is there sufficient information to create awareness on this issue?'. There are blurry announcements (due to 'cacat' speaker), There were pink poles to mark the ladies coach, there were banners but 60% hanging, there were train guards reminder (I only saw in Sentral) and notice (on sliding doors). Initially, I thought they have scrap off the idea, then a guard shoo 50% male to the other deck and left another 50% behind and do nothing about it. Ah, then it hit my mind, yes, the ladies deck is still applicable! Besides the deck issue, punctuality is one big issue too!

But what about people getting in the public transport?

In high school, we were taught to line up to get our food, queue up to go up a bus, do not push, give seat to the older generations/ disables and only throw rubbish into rubbish bin. Any many times we heard graduates say, ' I have return what I've learn back to the school!'. And I guess this statement is very true! In this country, there are no such thing as queue! That is why we have numbering system! But we can't do that to get into a train no? When we are in the society here, face the fact that queuing pushing is the idle manner of getting there! Silly me queuing up to get into the train as what I did in other country, makes me a fool among the people! The lesson learnt :- queuing will never get in!

real life scenario :- The train arrives, all ladies moves towards where the door stops (literally like many sperms swimming and fighting towards the egg). The door open, and before the people could get out, a chinese lady screams "PUSH!". No! she is not delivering baby! She is commanding everyone to push in! AND YES! All ladies PUSH!!! and we push our way into the train! AMAZING! Even the guards to not have the power to control the crowd. Whistles does not seem to be very useful in this situation. They just stood there and shake their heads after trying their best.

People say, when you are flying with the eagles, fly like an eagle! So, when you are waiting for train in your own country, don't act like fake tourist!

Sad to see this in our own country no? Contradicting to what we've learn no? Head knowledge here is just for leisure! Real life knowledge is our surviving skills.

Things that I could not avoid, I was squeezed, my toe was stepped (there goes my glossy nails) and pushed!

So enough for the public transport! I truly do not what to go into pickpockets, drinking in train stations, throwing rubbing into the train track (might be the cause of delay for KTM?) and many more! If i do, this will take pages to fit into this post!

Let's see our younger generation. In the news papers we read about them scoring more and more As each year and their achievements are getting better and better. FYI, they are only like 5% (maybe) of our total younger generation. What happen to the others?

It is not wrong for high schoolers to hang out during school holidays, but what kind of character and attitude they bring can be an issue to the society. We might not see it but in the long run yes, we can feel it! As I was walking around the city, I begin to see many things. There were many teenagers (say 15-18yr old) hanging around the malls, the streets, the walk way (blocking pedestrians) and the stairways. They were not just hanging around but acting around too! Besides doing what they should do, there were acting like hooligans around the city. It is not Sex and the city, it is the Hooligans and the City. They were going around screaming, running and doing funny things every where. Well, you would say it is apart of growing up. I don't feel peace in that place, shopping is definitely not a paradise there (without a car minus jam) and safety is an issue! Ah, before I forget, I saw teenagers smoking too! Are they allow to buy cigarettes? A big sigh. . . . . That is our social issue.

Moral in school is just a joke in real life. We cant blame fully on school education, we must first start at home. Hence, please do not have TOO MANY KIDS if you DO NOT HAVE THE CAPACITY TO NURTURE THEM AND SHAPE THEIR CHARACTER. We do not want future rubbish, but a future talented generation to fulfills our nation's vision. We definitely do not want to be lead by hooligans but a man of  good character and integrity. Government is not fully to blame, citizens have their part to play too.

Improvement?

There are still long way to go. The only improvement I see is my pocket/wallet! Cash flowing out to keep my wallet lighter! "like" it?

I would prefer:- show us the improvements before raising all the fees. We tired of paying more and seeing less (or maybe only 10%?)

There are many potholes on the roads. Don't just pay to cover the problem, but use the effort to solve the problem.

SeaFOOD weekend!

Looks like I am posting a lot on food lately in my blog. Well, I did not do that on purpose but somehow it is the only idea running through my head!

Last Friday I travel back to Penang to celebrate mother's day with mummy! Yes I know it is pretty late but then it is the best time where all of us is around! Jay, me, daddy and mummy! The entire adventure of Penang trip begins with a wake up call on Saturday! While waiting for my sis to arrived from Ipoh, we decided to head to Pulau Aman for a short island sight seeing/ food eating trip! How to get there? I seriously do not know! What I know is that the port to the island is located in mainland Penang where we have to pass by Batu Kawan stadium!

This is the place where we waited for our boat to the island!

There were certain time for us to catch the ferry to the island and back! The ferry transfer cost RM6 (return trip) per person. There were hotels ranging from budget stay (RM5 pernight with minimum of 8pax) in a school to medium cost chalet (RM70 per night facing another island) to a little costly and yet cheap chalet (RM120). The condition of the hotels were not as nice as those top notch vacation spots. It is more of a village style! Good to try!

Picture from the shore

The best part of this island is the seafood! Yesh! The seafood!

In cantonese, we called it Lai Liu Har. In hokkien we call it hea kor. In english? I dono!

Crab on the table!

There were restaurants set up in the island itself. Our favourite pick was the one located at the shore (where they extend the platform out to the sea). There they serve the catch of the day. i.e. prawns, fish, crabs and many more!

here comes the catch of the day!

All we need to do is to pick our sea creature alive..ahem of course from their tank not sea! They will catch them for you in a pail and we bring them to our table in the restaurant.

Then the waiter will come and pick up your sea-creature and steam them into seafood!

NYUM NYUM! Delicious!

We usually eat the ready peeled! Today, we learn how to peel! Cut the head, cut the side and peel them like banana! HAHABANANA! Just be cautious! their back side and head are pretty sharp!

The place is cleaner than I expected! And they do serve super nice mee goreng as well with 3 large prawns!!!! AWESOME!!!!!

After much fun around the island, we head back to Tambun for lunch with my sis! The night ended with an awesome garden dinner with my family in our very own little garden! We had crabsssss, huge fish and bee hoon! NICE!!! But outch! I hurt my finger while cracking my crabs! BLEEEDING!!!!

Well, I am of course back home already..and I miss my parents so so much!
